Under the patronage of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry
Chairman, Takaful International new branch in Riffa, was opened. The
new branch will provide all Sharia'a insurance services and
represents a qualitative step in terms of services to be provided
for the Central and Southern governorates. The branch will start
receiving all claims in addition to providing insurance services
such as auto, fire, general accident insurance and family Takaful,
which was the last products approved by the Company's Sharia'a
Supervisory Board, launched and marketed for the first time in the
region by Takaful International Company.
Commenting on this branch opening, Mr. Younis Jamal, Takaful
International General Manager, said: "Our Company adopted the
expansion strategy to be one of the leading world companies. The
expansion process witnessed by Takaful International is not limited
to the expansion within the Kingdom's borders but beyond that.
This year, Takaful International established a new Takaful company
in the State of Kuwait under the umbrella of the Group and will
carry on its subscription activities soon and we are working on
establishing new Takaful company in Qatar.
Takaful International opened a new branch in Muharraq at the advent
of this year and it provides all the Company's insurance products
and services.
In a reply to the reasons of selecting Riffa, Mr. Younis Jamal,
Takaful International General Manager, said: "Takaful International
seeks to keep up with the construction and industrial developments
witnessed by the area. We also responded to our customer's requests
and suggestions to cover all the Kingdom's governorates during this
year and next year. Takaful International seeks to open a new branch
at the advent of 2008 to reach out all the Kingdom's governorates
and provide all Sharia'a-compliant products and services with the
highest quality standards and state-of-the-art technology to offer a
competitive and innovative product.
He added: "the growth Takaful International witnesses makes us
provide new services to keep up with the continuing growth. The
variety and volume of insurance portfolios impose to provide a
different and unique service and expand our processes. Building up
an infrastructure that meet all the operating and professional
liabilities is one of the most important factors the Company depends
on to offer innovative products and services as one of the first
Islamic insurance companies in the region.
The guests were briefed on the services to be offered in the branch
which was designed to provide a comfortable and friendly work
environment.
